The Willans Works exhibition is on until 22nd August at Rugby Art Gallery & Museum, celebrating Rugby’s rich engineering heritage by tracing the history of Willans and Robinson, the firm which pioneered the manufacture of steam engines and turbines in the town.
The exhibition features photographs, brochures, company newsletters and advertisements from Willans & Robinson, English Electric and GEC.
Warwickshire County Record Office launched the Boaters and Bright Sparks project after securing £50,000 in grants to catalogue its archive of records relating to the Willans Works and duplicate records have been donated to Rugby Art Gallery and Museum.
