Notes about this historic site
1 Earthworks in the form of rectangular banks and linear dirtches visible on aerial photographs were mapped as part of the English Heritage National Mapping Project. The banks and ditches seen on the aerial photographs may be the boundaries of tofts or crofts associated with properties located on the High Street. The ditches at the southern end of the area may be more recent than the rectangular banks.
