Description of this historic site
The site of a Medieval shrunken village. The remains of the village are visible as earthworks. A tithe map of 1849 shows a number of houses that no longer exist. The site is located at Lower Green, Walcote.

Notes about this historic site
1 A contiguous block of ridge and furrow extending eastwards of the shrunken settlement of Walcote is visible on LiDAR imagery. A number of areas of headland are visible as are the reverse S-curve in a number of selions.
