Notes about this historic site
1 Bloom extracted the following from an undated newspaper. Workmen digging out earth for the foundation of the new entrance on the SW side of Talton House, at a depth of about 0.61m, came upon a number of human skeletons ‘lying in a natural position’, but in an advanced state of decay. Eight skeletons were exhumed in an area of about 4.6m by 1.8m.
