Notes about this historic site
12 An area of earthworks was identified from LiDAR imagery by the AOC Assessment of Local Services Villages for Stratford-on-Avon District Council in 2012.
3This feature is clearly a large millpond associated with Great Alne Mill (MWA1559). The mill building itself is 18th century but a mill is known to have existed on the site from the 11th century.
