On Sunday, 15th March 2015, the centenary commemoration of King George V’s review of the 29th Division took place. The commemoration took place in the middle of the A45, around the monument to the event that stands on the island where it crosses the Fosse Way. There were 100 invited guests at the ceremony, including the Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire, the Mayor of Rugby, Mr. Mark Pawsey the MP for Rugby, along with many officials of The Gallipoli Association, representatives of regiments who took part and local organisations.
