Description of this historic site

A human burial was found during dredging works on the Noleham Brook. The date of the burial is unknown. It was found 600m west of Long Marston.

Notes about this historic site

1 Following dredging of the Noleham Brook in summer 1982 a skeleton was observed and partially excavated by a local resident. The body was orientated E-W and was not accompanied by grave goods.
