The site of a possible Medieval windmill suggested by documentary evidence. An associated windmill mound may also be visible as an earthwork. The site is located 500m east of Bickley's Bridge

Notes about this historic site
1 A windmill is mentioned in 1347 and 1353.
2 Windmill marked on map.
3 A circular mound was noticed to the E of the Bascote-Long Itchington road. Maximum height 0.2m tapering to 0.05m, about 18m across. It is possible that this is the remains of the windmill mound.
