Notes about this historic site
1 The Dunchurch Lock-up was a rectangular brick building 9’6″ wide by 14’6″ deep with a tiled roof. It had a solitary 2′ square iron grill on the left hand side. There was a door of studded oak with its original lock. The building was damaged in 1972 when alterations were being made to another house and had to be demolished.
