Description of this historic site
The remains of a Roman building and part of a Roman road were found during archaeological work. The site was located in Bleachfield Street, Alcester. Roman pottery was also found at the site.

1 Salvage recording revealed traces of the Roman town, including the foundations of a stone building, a dump of painted wall plaster, a small assemblage of 1st century pottery, and probably part of the Alcester-Stratford road.
