Notes about this historic site
1 Two parallel ditches were recorded, possibly a droveway heading NNE-SSW, leading to a previously excavated enclosure to the south (MWA12480), during excavation at the site of the former Peugeot Works. A small pottery assemblage was recorded from this site, of 3rd to 4th century date. It appears to correlate with the features previously excavated. A number of other features appear to relate to stock control or field boundaries.
