1 1959-61 by J C Prestwich and Sons. ‘Alas it is quite dead architecturally’. Portico and two neo-Georgian wings.

Comments
The town hall is not and was not in Corporation Street. I think you’ll find the road was altered slightly to make the new Town Hall accessible, and some parking out front. In honour of us “twinning” with Evreaux, France it was named Evreaux Way .
