Notes about this historic site
1 Romano British site and burial.
2 This was an excavation conducted by Stratford schoolboys which recovered Romano British pot and a burial thought to be Romano British. Reports of slabbed floors must be treated with scepticism as this is the most likely to have been natural bedrock, which is very close to the surface at this point. Pottery is under MWA5310.
