Notes about this historic site
1 A rectilinear bank and ditches can be seen on aerial photographs in the field imeeadiately to the east of Wood Bevington Farm were mapped as part of the English Heritage National Mapping Project. The bank appears to be the remains of a boundary, possibly of the wood refrerred to in the name of the adjacent farm. The ditch crossing the western edge of the bank appears to be a modern track from the farm. The function, other than drainage, of the remaining ditches is unclear.
