Notes about this historic site
1 The farmhouse itself appeared to have 17th century origins, as evidenced in its timber framework, but a variety of date ranges up to the end of the 19th century were identified within its fabric. Outbuildings were added from the mid-19th century, but limited development after this time suggests the farm had either been emalgamated or the farmyard moved elsewhere. The complex remained largely untouched throughout the 20th century.
