Preston-on-Stour lies about four miles south of Stratford-upon-Avon, on the western bank of the River Stour. The earliest mention of the local church was in 1272, but a lot of the building is 18th century, in the Gothic Revival style. Around a mile to the south-east lies Wimpstone, once the home of the children's television show 'Teletubbies'.
