Notes about this historic site
1 A wooden stable block of a military pattern dating perhaps to the 1890s and constructed during World War 1. It was probably rebuilt at its present site, possibly during World War 11 by the War Agricultural Committee. The roof is reed insulated which is designed to stop the warm air from the horses chilling before it reaches the ventilators.
