Notes about this historic site
1 There was a mill at Hillborough in 1086, but there is no other reference to it until 1571, when it was in the possession of John Hubaud.
2The location has been moved from a point on the opposite side of the river, over 1km away, to a point in Hillborough township. The exact location of the mill remains uncertain.
