Notes about this historic site
1 ‘Roglow Brigge’ is recorded in 1417. This was probably the bridge which carries the Banbury Road over a small brook at the SE end of the parish and which is marked as Rokesly Bridge on a map of 1599.
2 The bridge is actually called ‘Rokerslye Bridge’.
3 The site is now occupied by a small modern brick built bridge.
