2 ‘Corn Mill’ marked.
3 The area is now partly industrial, partly wasteland, and it is difficult to locate the mill building. It is assumed to have been demolished.
4 The mill is not indicated on the Bilton Tithe Apportionment map of 1842. The site is not on a significant watercourse or on high ground and is unlikely therefore to have been a watermill or a windmill. It may have been a steam-powered mill, built after 1842.
