Description of this historic site

The Newbold Road Railway Bridge, which was built during the Imperial period to take the London to Birmingham railway line over Newbold Road. It is situated 100m north of Wood Street.

1 Railway bridge taking LNWR London-Birmingham Railway (WA 7563) over Newbold Road. Shown on OS 1st ed 1:10560 map of 1886. Presumably built 1833/38, but altered.
