Description of this historic site
The site of several houses dating to the Imperial period. The cellars were found during an archaeological excavation. The houses were situated around what is now the junction of Theatre Street and Commainge Close, Warwick.

Notes about this historic site
1 The traces of the cellars of a number of houses were visible until the Holloway was filled in during winter 1985-6. A trench excavated in the base of the Holloway indicated an old road surface.
