Description of this historic site
The site of brickworks dating to the Imperial period. They are marked on the Ordnance Survey map of 1886, but only faint scoops in the ground remain visible. The site is to the north east of Hay Wood, Baddesley Clinton.

1 Kiln and Brick Works marked.
2 The area is wooded and the ground covered with indiscriminate scoops of varying shape, size and depth, which look as if they are the remains of open-cast mining, for the clay for the kilns.
