Description of this historic site
Boon's Canal Wharf, where vessels would have loaded and unloaded goods. It was in use during the Imperial period and was situated 400m east of Windmill Hill Quarry.

Does anyone know the history of this branch of the Boon family, the owners of Windmill Hill Quarry? Is there any link to the Boons of Ramsay in Huntingdonshire? Time period about 1750 to 1870.
