Notes about this historic site
1 The site of Willicote DMV is accorded this grid reference in Beresford and Hurst (1971) where it is noted only in the gazetteer.
2 The alleged site is a field entirely covered with ridge and furrow. No earthworks suggesting a DMV were visible. This DMV may have been confused with Wincot DMV (MWA 1334) which could not be located. The NGR is similar and the land is occupied by Wincot Farm.
