Stourton Manor House

Description of this historic site

Stourton Manor House which was built during the Post Medieval period. It is located 500m north east of the church at Stourton.

Notes about this historic site

1 Early 17th century large T-shaped house of two storeys and attics in stone. The main front has three leaded 3-light casements with oak lintels. A cross-wing at the north end has three large gabled dormers with stone mullioned 2-light windows. The house has a tiled roof over one section – this being a former oat house now incorporated into the main building.
