The site of a gazebo dating back to the Post Medieval period. It was situated to the south east of Newnham Hall.

Notes about this historic site
1 The little island in the river, just below the hall, had a ‘pleasure house’ built upon it by the Countess of Southampton, the ruins of which were visible at the beginning of the 19th century.
2 The small island is devoid of any indications of a former building.
