Notes about this historic site
1 The moat formerly enclosed the Manor House of Codbarrow, but there is no vestige of the house which stood within its bounds. It was old to Andrew Archer in 1612 and subsequently demolished.
2 Some information exists on the ownership of Codbarrow.
3 No vestige of the house that stood within the moat now remains.
