Signal Box & Railway Junction

Description of this historic site

The site of railway signal box which was in use during the Imperial period. It is no longer standing. It was situated 400m south west of Broom.

Notes about this historic site

1 During a survey of the dismantled Evesham and Redditch Railway, it was discovered that the Broom South signal box is now just a pile of brick and rubble. The formation of the junction however is well preserved; the proposed road passes to the west of the site and misses it completely.
