Comments
Cameron McPherson bought the property in the early 1930s, having previously owned Shanklin Manor on the Isle of Wight. He moved to Warwickshire because the fox-hunting was better! My maternal grandparents, Fred and Doris Langley, accompanied the family. Fred was chauffeur and handyman, Doris was cook-housekeeper.
