Description of this historic site
Several enclosures are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. They probably represent the remains of modern buildings. The site is located to the west of Tantara Lodge.

Comments
First series OS 1:25000 mapping clearly shows the location of the buildings which were part of the barracks /military hospital complex that then became the Massey Ferguson farm school, and is now a business park. Original WW2 buildings are still well maintained and in use nearer Stareton.
