Notes about this historic site
1 Possible earthworks indicating Medieval shrunken village transcribed from air photographs. Aerial photograph reference numbers not recorded.
2 Earthworks mapped as part of the English Heritage National Mapping Project. The earthworks are complex and have been modified by mineral extraction and creation of trackways. It is possible that the two rectangular banks in the centre of the area represent fish ponds but equally they could be erroded building platforms.
