The site of a well from which Medieval pottery sherds were recovered. The well was situated in the area of the High Street, Rugby.

Notes about this historic site
1 A jug or pitcher of large size of coarse red ware, with the upper portion exhibiting indications of glaze. This was found many years ago, I think in 1861, at the bottom of a well nearly opposite the school gates, on the rebuilding of the house at the SW corner of the High Street. This may be of the 14th century or 15th century.
