A relative of mine (Frederick Quimby) was Publican of The Nelson Inn, Long Street, Atherstone in 1881.
My great-great-great grandfather, Thomas Eaton, was publican in 1871.
I believe a relative of mine, William Harrington Lagoe was publican in the early 1800s.
