Notes about this historic site
1 Railway from London-Birmingham, built under powers granted by Act of May 6th 1833, surveys of the route having begun in 1829. Opened from Rugby to Birmingham on April 9th 1838 and from London to Birmingham on Sept 17th 1838. Merged into LNWR from Jan 1 1846.
