Description of this historic site
The site of a railway signal box that was built during the Imperial period. It is marked on the Ordnance Survey map of 1923. It was situated 300m east of the Sports Ground, Hillmorton, Rugby.

Notes about this historic site
1 Signal box marked on 1923 map.
2 A brick and timber signal box was located to the south of the platform of Hillmorton Station (Rugby Central) between the main line and the siding into the goods yard to the west of the station. The signal box was not located to the east of the main line as shown on the plan for the proposed station.
