Notes about this historic site
1 Numerous wharves used to serve the rural communities of the Forest of Arden…(including)…Kingswood wharf near bridge 65.
2 Basin has been filled in: wharf stables survive.
3 The wharf is on the Warwick to Birmingham Canal behind The Navigation pub at Lapworth. There is a possible wharf building of redbrick on a stone base.
