Imperial building
Description of this historic site
The corner of a stone built building was discovered during an excavation. It is believed to have been standing in the Imperial period. It could either be a public house marked on an 1806 map or 'The Butchers Hall' on a 1711 map. It stood on Market Place, Warwick.

Notes about this historic site
1 1983: Watching brief in Market Square on a storm-drain. Part of the trench section showed what appeared to be the corner of a stone-built building. Could be the public house ‘The Flying Horse’ on the 1806 map of Warwick or ‘The Butchers’ Hall’ on the 1711 map.
