The site of a settlement, a former farmstead, dating from the Medieval to the Post Medieval period. It is situated 500m south of Studley Common.

Notes about this historic site
1 A map of 1746 shows a farmstead consisting of a group of three buildings c.200m SW of Four Elms Farm.
23 The farmstead appears to be attached to a block of fields suggesting that it belonged to an established settlement and was not a recent encroachment onto waste. It may therefore be of early post-medieval or late Medieval origin. The farmstead is not shown on the 1849 Tithe Map and had presumably been abandoned by this date.
