1 Reference to three lots of Roman coins found ‘in the vicinity of Venonae’ in about 1900. A denarius of Mark Antony (c40-30 BC), various coins of Roman Imperial period (c40-383 AD), Roman Imperial denarius of Domitian (69-96 AD).
