Notes about this historic site
C19 or earlier well revealed by Watching Brief.
1 An archaeological observation carried out in connection with the cutting of foundation trenches at this location revealed a brick lined well. The bricks were unmortared and of C19 date but the observers suggested that the well itself could have been an earlier feature relined in that period.
