Notes about this historic site
1 Below the level of a Roman stone floor at 1.5m was a course of black burnt material and in among that were ‘Neolithic pot boilers and flint scrapers of metal age’, also pieces of black pottery.
2 A scraper found in Meeting Lane is mentioned.
