Warwickshire Museum’s entomology collection includes a cabinet of butterflies, donated by county collector Terry Manton. Instead of focusing on local species, Terry amassed a fascinating collection of exotic butterfly species from around the world. These provide a fascinating context for our more local specimens, giving us insight into the diversity of insects on a global scale, beyond the county boundaries.

    These are mainly S.E Asian and African species of Swallowtail butterflies, Papilio genus.
