Notes about this historic site
1 A group of five wooden piles were recovered from the north bank of the Avon from works relating to the construction of the Barford Bypass in 2006/7. Two of the piles had dendrochronological analysis carried out but failed to give a date. The piles have been suggested as part of a possible fish weir or bank revetment.
