You have nothing on the history of this house, so I was wondering if you could steer me in the right direction. I remember, as a very young boy, visiting an elderly family member there in the 1950s who was matron when the house was used as a home/school for boys ( possibly orphans). I also have a very vague recollection of Norman Wisdom coming through the windows, half way up the stairs, dressed as Father Christmas, one year. I was very young, around 4 or 5 yrs old, so my memories are very hazy, that is why I was trying to discover more about the history of the house. Can you help please?
