Undated features at Oakwood Cottage
The remains of a wall and a well of unknown date were found during archaeological work. They were situated in the area of Howcombe Lane, Napton on the Hill.
1 A stone-lined well was discovered during topsoil stripping. About 6m to the north of the well was a discontinous line of ironstone rubble blocks. This probably marked the line of an ordinary wall foundation running approximately east-west.
