Description of this historic site
The site of Post Medieval fishponds, which were used for the breeding and storage of fish. They remain as earthworks, though dry, and are situated 200m east of All Saints Church, Ladbroke.

Notes about this historic site
1 In the E side of the fields are two large pools, now dry; one contained a mound which could be the remains of an ornamental fountain. These pools are probably part of Sir William Palmer’s emparkment of c1650.

3 The farmer has recently started to fill in the S of the two fishponds.
