Description of this historic site
The site of an undated ford, a shallow point where people, animals and vehicles would have rossed the River Arrow. The ford was situated 300m north of The Rookery.

1 Until the beginning of the last century there was a second and more important crossing [to the ford PRN 593] about half a mile to the S, near Broom Court.
