Notes about this historic site
1 An archaeological evaluation of the proposed library site at Bidford on Avon was carried out by the Warwickshire Museum in 1991. No features of archaeological significance were located although there were various finds of Iron Age, Romano British and medieval date from the topsoil. These may have resulted from soil being inported onto the site.
