Notes about this historic site
1 Here was the ‘Castle End’ pound. It was triangular in shape and part of the two N walls survive flanking the entrance path to a house in Borrow Well Lane. The third (S) wall was sited on what is now road. NB The road was widened and cut into what was the pound.
2 There is no sign of the site today and a hotel and garden occupies the ground, along with the road.

Comments
The site of this Pound is in the middle of the road outside Kenilworth library, or to be precise, on the traffic island to the west of the roundabout.
